Educator

As a music educator, I strive to bring my students equal and equitable opportunities in my classroom because I believe music is truly for everyone. In order for my music classroom to be accessible for everyone, I, as an educator, need to create an environment where all students feel like they can make an equally important contribution to music as the rest of their peers. This means that absolutely no student will be denied the opportunity to create music, and that all students, regardless of musical ability, are welcome in my classroom. Students can expect to come to my classroom ready to learn every day, and they should expect to leave feeling like they made a musical contribution that matters and makes them feel valued and fulfilled as a musician and a human being.
